SOGAZ Insurance Group is one of the largest federal-level universal insurance companies. In 2010, SOGAZ ranked second among the Russian insurers in terms of insurance premium accrued – RUB 99.56 billion. The total amount of insurance payments stood at RUB 73.47 billion.

One of the strategic objectives of SOGAZ Insurance Group is entering the global market as an equal partner. In 2009, the Group resolved to establish a subsidiary of SOGAZ insurance company in the Republic of Serbia. In 2010, SOGAZ acquired a stake in SOVAG (Germany), holder of licenses for the performance of insurance and reinsurance transactions in the EU countries.

SOGAZ has the highest reliability rating (А++) from Expert RA rating agency, as well as an  international financial sustainability rating BB+ (Forecast Stable) assigned to the company by Standard & Poor's and Fitch Ratings. High level of the quality management system of OJSC SOGAZ is validated by the GOST ISO 9001-2001 (ISO 9001:2000) certificate that covers all core activities of the company.
