VTB Insurance LTD was founded in 2000 but only established itself as a fully fledged and ambitious participant in the insurance market three years ago, when the VTB Group made the final decision to develop its own insurance business and VTB Insurance LTD adopted its current name.

From that moment on, the company developed at a furious pace. In a very short time, it managed to win the respect and trust of many businesses, organizations and private individuals. This now allows VTB Insurance LTD to compete successfully with leading insurance firms and to grow at a pace far exceeding the market average.

It was originally supposed that by the year 2012, the company would be among the top 30 insurance market players. However, thanks to its rapid development, last year VTB Insurance LTD already entered the top 15, and this year it won a place in the top 10, even thoughback in 2007 it ranked only 64th globally.

Despite the fact that the company’s progress exceeded even the boldest of expectations, VTB Insurance LTD does not intend to rest on its laurels. The company has set a number of ambitious goals aiming towards further increase in market share, all the while striving for market leadership not only in revenue but also in quality of customer service.

Authorized capital for VTB Insurance LTD comprises 1.54 billion rubles. Its working capital exceeds 5 billion rubles. The only member of the Society is VTB Bank, a leader in the Russian banking sector. The company is part of the VTB Group – a leading international financial group originating in Russia.

VTB Insurance LTD conducts 17 kinds of insurance activities under license C #3398 77 as issued by Russia’s Federal Executive Insurance Supervisory Authority and offers the full scope of insurance services for legal and natural persons. For individuals, the company offers automotive insurance (kasko and OSAGO, i.e. comprehensive and collision, as well as liability), home and apartment insurance, property insurance, as well as accident and third party liability. For their corporate clients, VTB Insurance LTD offers insurance plans for property, cargo, construction risk, and personnel.

VTB Insurance LTD is a member of the All-Russian Insurance Association, the Russian Association of Motor Insurers, the National Union of Liability Insurers, the Interregional Union of Medical Insurers, the Russian Association of Aviation and Space Insurers, as well as the Russian Antiterrorist Insurance Pool.
