Organizational PartnerThe National Union of Liability InsurersThe National Union of Liability Insurers (NULI) was established on the 9th of July 2005 under the aegis of All-Russian Insurance Association and 26 leading Russian insurance organisations. The NULI operates in accordance with the Constitution of the Russian Federation, the Civil Code of the Russian Federation, the Law of the Russian Federation of 27.11.1992 No. 4015-1 “On organisation of insurance business in the Russian Federation”, the Federal Law of 27.07.2010 No. 225-FZ "On compulsory general and employers’ liability insurance of an owner of a hazardous object for damages in case of an accident involving a hazardous object”, the Federal Law of 14.06.2012 No. 67-FZ “On compulsory liability insurance of a carrier for any damage to life, health, property and the order of indemnity for such damages caused during the transportation of passengers by underground trains”, the Federal Law of 12.01.1996 ¹ 7-FZ "On non-profit organisations". The NULI is a consolidated national union that is set up as a non-profit professional association on the principle of compulsory membership of insurers implementing the compulsory general and employers’ liability insurance of an owner of a hazardous object for damages in case of an accident involving a hazardous object and the compulsory liability insurance of a carrier for any damage to life, health, property and the order of indemnity for such damages caused during the transportation of passengers by underground trains. Main objectives of the NULI are to ensure cooperation of members of the NULI in accordance with the Federal Laws in force, to further develop national insurance in the Russian Federation. At present, the NULI consists of 61 full-fledged member companies that have made it to the top positions on the compulsory insurance market. The NULI cooperates, within its professional activity, with the state authorities of the Russian Federation, in particular, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the Federal Service for Financial Markets, the Federal Service for Ecological, Technological and Nuclear Supervision, the Federal Water Resources Agency, the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, as well as with All-Russian Insurance Association, Russian Association of Motor Insurers and other unions and professional associations of insurers.
